PricePerfect ("we", "us", "our") helps shoppers compare prices and discover deals across fashion retailers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — name and email address you provide at signup, or that we receive from Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
• Account identifier — a unique user ID generated by our authentication provider so we can link your preferences to your account.
• Shopping preferences — brands, sizes, colors, genders, and categories you choose in the app.
• Support messages — any information you send us through the support form.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, health data, payment information, or any biometric data.

2. How We Use Information

• Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• Display your name and initials in the app.
• Personalize the products and deals we show you based on your saved preferences.
• Respond to support requests you send us.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the service.

We do not use your personal data for advertising and we do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of service providers to run PricePerfect:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Railway — application hosting.
• Netlify — web hosting.
• SendGrid — transactional email delivery.
• Apple and Google — if you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, those providers handle the authentication flow and share a limited identifier and your name/email with us.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms and security controls.

4. Product Links

PricePerfect displays publicly available product and pricing information from third-party retailers and links out to those retailers for purchases. We do not complete transactions inside the app. Once you tap through, the retailer's own terms and privacy policy apply.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and update — you can view and update your name and preferences in the Profile tab.
• Delete your account — tap Delete Account in the Profile tab. This permanently removes your account and associated preferences from our systems.
• Email us — for any other request, contact support@price-perfect.com.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems. Residual copies may remain in routine backups for a limited time before being overwritten.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encrypted storage through our hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data from unauthorized access.

8. Children's Privacy

PricePerfect is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

PricePerfect is operated from the United States. If you use the app from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S. and in the regions where our service providers operate.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate.
